At the base of these mountains is The Great Sand Dunes National Park... so cool! Danny was upset because he wanted to ride our Ranger on them! Sorry honey! :)

In the summer, when the snow melts, there is a creek that flows... N found a rock that he wanted to keep!

We had to go on several walks to get a little exercise from all the food we ate! On our walk we saw lots of wildlife...
and I got this pic of N that I thought was too cute!
On the way home the next day, it had snowed just enought to get the ground white, which made it easier to see all the wildlife on the way home. This is the only time Danny would stop long enough for me to get a picture, and that was only because they were in the middle of the road and he HAD to!
